The Longest Table

The idea

A “longest table” is exactly what it sounds like: one long table down a closed street, a park path, or a parish hall. Everyone is invited. Nobody sits with only the people they came with.

What we provide

Why it matters

Loneliness and civic distrust are downstream of how rarely we share a meal with someone we didn’t already know. The software is small; the outcome is not.
